School Garden Community Work Day. May 7, 2015
Thetford Elementary School Garden
A big THANK YOU to everyone who came to the TES School Garden after-school work day on Thursday. Over 20 hard-working community members, school staff, parents and students attended, bringing their incredible enthusiasm and helpful talents, tools, and cookies and lemonade donated from the school kitchen. Many hands made the work light and fun. And, we got a lot accomplished.
Check out some photos of the day: http://
Students at TES have started their classroom seeds for the school gardens. In our classroom visits we divide into 3 groups and have 3 stations to visit in 45 minutes: A seeding table, a theme coloring table, and a theme science observation and activity table. This class of 2nd graders is just starting their pollinators unit.
