This week is the 5th Anniversary of Tropical Storm Irene.
The Community Resilience Organization of Hartford is hosting a series of FREE workshops to build our individual, family, neighborhood, village and town abilities to adapt and bounce back from everything from inconvenient snowstorms to catastrophes such as TS Irene to long term climate change.
I'll be presenting at the Symposium On Soils on Thursday along with Didi Pershouse. At the final Saturday evening gathering, Upper Valley Apple Corps (an awesome group I work with) will feature a presentation and tree dedication: the planting of 4 fruit trees and complimentary plant guilds on the Town Hall Green!
